Enchanting your equipment gives additional defence, magic defence, physical attacking power or magical attacking power depending on the equipment you wish to enchant. What you need is an enchant scroll that matches the level and the type of equipment you wish to upgrade.

As you can see here there are different types of enchant scrolls with different level ranges.

How to Enchant:

First you need to have the enchant scroll that matches the equipment you wish to enchant.

Here we have the Master Guardian sword, it's required level is 75 so we will be needing an Enchant Scroll: Weapon 40~79.

To open the Enchanting menu, press 'S' for the skills tab and double click on the 'Enchant' icon.

The Enchant menu will appear. You need to drag the equipment you wish to enchant on the first slot.

Next you have to place the enchant scroll that matches your equipment on the second slot, which, in this case is an Enchant Scroll: Weapon 40~79. Click on the 'Enchant' button to proceed.

If enchanting succeeds, you will see an announcement on your chat box that says that enchanting has succeeded. The Master Guardian sword is now a Master Guardian +1.

It's physical attacking power has increased.

Please note that enchanting +2 equipment and above has a chance of failing, and if it fails your equipment will be destroyed in the process. But, there is an item available that will prevent your equipment from getting destroyed if enchanting fails. They are called the Enchant Scroll of Protection. They also come in different level ranges. They can be used for equipment that has a +2 or higher enchant. Note that Enchant Scroll and Enchant Scroll of Protection are different. Enchant scrolls are used to enchant your equipment and the latter is used to protect your equipment from getting destroyed when enchanting fails.

To use this, you need to double click on the scroll and the Enchanting Menu will open. Next you need to drag the equipment you wish to enchant and the scroll that matches it.

When enchanting fails you will be able to read in your chat box that your equipment has been protected by the scroll and therefore, it hasn't been destroyed.
