Once you've found your perfect match, you can start building a family with up to 5 members. This system aims to form a special bond between characters aside from the common massive group which is the guild.

Creating a family is the key to one of the game's most essential features, which is Farming. Being in a family will allow you to experience cultivating items you can't find anywhere else!

Proceed to ?Alker Harbor and talk to the Family Manager, Celerian.

It is required for you to apply for a residence before creating a Family.

Talk to Celerian and select 'Apply for resident'.

Fill up the Issue Residence Card and 'Save'.

Now you can select 'Family Creation'. A message will prompt saying that a family has been formed.

You can now view your family details by pressing 'F'.

A family can have up to a maximum of 5 members.

To invite more members, click the character and then click 'Invite' in the Family Window.

Family fame points can be gained by simply killing mobs. Fame points are necessary in farming.

Farming is very important in the game because it is where you can harvest rare items for crafting.
